My Little BeBee . . .

Oh Be, How can I begin to say

how much we loved you and still do?

Its a love that cannot be taken away even by death.

How can I begin this memory page?

Every hour, every minute, every day,

Every year of your short time with us was so precious.

First of all I want to thank God,

for giving you to us.

I know you were a miracle from God,

From the beginning.

Oh How I remember the day you were born.

I loved you from the first time your mom said she was pregnant,

Lisa Pregnant with Brandon

But that day you were born and God breathe His Spirit into you,

and you took your first breath,

how I loved you.

You were so precious as I held you in my arms,

I thought my heart would explode with so much love.

Bringing you home from the hospital,

to take you and rock you,

and sing you some song about Jesus...

usually Jesus loves me.

I knew you were a gift from God.

I started telling you about Jesus as soon as I held you in my arms.

Your very first Christmas you played baby Jesus . . .

I remember all the programs you did for Christmas,

"The Little Shepherd Boy,"

the "Little Cow" in the play Stranger in the Straw.

You were only 4 or 5,

when you played the little cow.

It was so funny how you knew all of your part,

and all of everyone else's as well.

And there was the time you were the "Little Soldier Boy,"

How Handsome you were!

I will never forget,

when you started kindergarten.

I would stay and help the teacher

so you I wouldn't have to leave you alone.

None of us will be able to forget that time

you fell asleep on the bus,

you didn't get down when the bus stopped.

Oh, how frightened I was.

Your mom had just started working a new job,

I couldn't remember the name of the place.

I called your Aunt Charlie.

Aunt Charlie called your mom and said,

"Don't Panic!"

Brandon didn't get off the bus.

Your mom yelled back, "Don't Panic!"

Your Aunt Charlie found you.

You had rode all the way to the Bus Barn.

Thank God you were safe,

you had only fallen asleep on  he bus,

and the bus driver didn't see you until he finished his route.

Your smile, the twinkle in your eyes.

You were so quiet, sitting in the living room,

playing with your toys, watching TV.

When I would lay down on the couch,

Tonie and you would come lay there with me,

you laying behind me using my hip for a pillow

and Tonie in the front of me.

Oh, how we would talk and laugh.

I loved how you Brandon, Tonie, Joshua and Melody

would all climb on Pa Milton's lap,

or climb all on the motorcycle for a ride.

When one would climb the rest would follow!

All in Pa's lap                                         All on motorcycle with Pa

I am so thankful to God,

for the times Pa and me were allowed to take you on trips.

The trips to Louisiana, to California.

Oh, how you loved the beach.

You Loved the water always Brandon.

I remember how you loved Finger Lake,

even when you were real little

and Jay would take Tonie and you fishing there.

Even when you got older Finger Lake always fascinated you.

When you moved to your house next to Finger Lake,

with mom, Mark and Rachel,

you would still come on weekends and we would go to church.

But all of a sudden before our eyes you were all grown up.

I missed you then, but I knew you had friends,

and I knew you were having fun.

But Brandon I really would miss you!

I will never forget the night Chris married Leon,

when I saw you all dressed up.

My, what a handsome young man you had become.

Right in front of my eyes, it seemed like overnight.

Brandon, the one thing I will never forget,

is how much love,

how much compassion you had in your heart.

I always knew you had such a heart.

I will never forget that one day,

as I lay with so much pain in my knees.

You came to me and you knelt before me,

you helped me put socks on my feet.

You had big tears in your eyes.

How I felt your love for me that day,

though I had always known how much you loved Pa and I,

this day, as I looked in your beautiful blues eyes,

as you cried for my pain,

I saw so clearly the heart God had given you.

I will also never forget your tenderness Brandon.

The way you would hold your little cousins,

Ryan and Janea, in your arms,

how softly you would stroke their cheeks.

I saw that same compassion in your eyes.

The last month before God took you,

will always be very special to me.

For whatever reason,

we didn't know,

but God knew you would not be with us here very long.

God gave me a special blessing.

You had grown up,

You had your own life,

it seemed like I hardly ever saw you.

It also seemed like you were barely ever home.

But I got a blessing, a gift from God.

Not long before you left to go to Jesus,

I called and you answered the phone.

Brandon, you had such a beautiful voice,

it was so DEEP.

When I started to hang up the phone that day,

I said,

"I love you Be!"

And you answered me,

"I love you to Ma Ma!"

Thank you Lord, for giving me this chance,

to tell my grandson Brandon I loved him.

But thank you even more

for the gift of hearing those words one more time,

"I love you too Ma Ma!"

All these memories Brandon,

and so many more,

I thank God for.

This is what keeps Ma going.

You will always be alive in my heart.

When bad days come, you are right here with me.

Maybe Ma can't see you,

but your presence is here,

till I meet you when my turn comes

to pass over to meet the Lord.

I know you will either be waiting for me,

or it will be you Brandon to escort me the throne,

where there will be no more parting,

no more pain,

no more tears.

On that day my precious little bebee,

I will see you in all your glory!

I love you Brandon
