B lessed I was to call you my son,

R ealize from early on you were special.

A lways watched you, did you know?

N ever could understand how I got so lucky.

D id you know your heart was the purist of gold?

O ther's could see it it, Not just me.

N ow all I have left is your precious memory.

D idn't have you for long, only 17 years,

E ach day I did have I will be forever grateful.

A waiting the time when we shall be together again.

N ow you enjoy the glory of God, the splendor of Heaven.

M uch you taught me, your short time here.

C aused me to see what I was unable to see.

M any, many friends and loved one's, they all say the same,

A lways loving, always giving, making so many laugh.

N ow the earth has lost the beauty of your presence.

A lways you will be remembered, you shall be loved forever.

M y son, soon those asleep in Christ shall rise,

Y ou shall see me in the air, I will meet you there!
